Abstract
Publicity against Myanmar’s nuclear activities has taken a more serious turn following publication of information and images of the country’s nuclear program by a Myanmarese exile in 2010 who is member of the Democratic Voice of Burma which opposes Myanmar’s military rule. Robert Kelly, a former IAEA nuclear inspector examined the material for months and concluded that Myanmar was planning to build nuclear bomb. Although the information and photos have not been confirmed yet, western states and nongovernmental organizations are expected to put more pressure on Myanmar to make its nuclear activities more transparent.
