Discussing the United States’ Nuclear Posture Review (NPR) and its main themes were the subject of a one-day seminar organized by Department for International Studies of the Center for Strategic Research. NPR and the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran, new American nuclear policy and negative security assurance, the United States’ nuclear forces, proponents and opponents of NPR in the United States and the world, nuclear terrorism, as well as the importance and status of missile in NPR were the most important topics analyzed by participants.
The specialized seminar was attended by a number of military commanders, scholars, university teachers, and experts of the Center for Strategic Research who discussed various aspects of NPR.
